Bolt.unmuhbarru.ac.id, Barru – Balsamo Outreach for Learning and Teaching (BOLT) in collaboration with Institut Agama Islam at PUNCAK camping ground. This event was a three day event that was attended by numerous high schools and college students from various high schools and colleges around the area. There were approximately 115 participants attending this summer camp that entailed various workshops about writing. At this summer camp students wrote a personal statement and 8 students were selected for the final presentation of their personal statements to evaluate which one was the best.
Students also had other events to show their skills such as a Poetry Reading Contest, Group Cheers Contest, and Funny Story Contest. All of these activities looked for the most creative, energetic, and interactive performance. Awards were given out at the closing ceremony to the finalists for each area for all the activities and personal statement writing by the students. This event was highly successful and the organizers are looking forward to having another Summer Camp next year.
